Preston Tower, Chathill, Northumberland
Preston Tower, near Alnwick, simply oozes historic charm from the moment you step into its private grounds. Boasting a 14th century pele tower and private family home, resident to the Baker-Cresswell family. Harry is only too glad to give you a personal tour.
Have your outdoor wedding at Preston Tower in our Sailcloth or Vintage Marquee or Giant Tipis and gain exclusive use of the grounds and access to the historic tower - an impressive and unforgettable setting for photographs!
Charming, winding paths take you on adventures around beautifully manicured lawns, English country gardens with stunning flower borders, and there's even a wildflower meadow providing the perfect backdrop to the ancient tower. We think hidden gin bars, vintage lawn games and festoon-lit walkways make this a dream rural wedding location.

Rural House Retreat, Morpeth, Northumberland
Rural House Retreat is a luxury Bed & Breakfast with an extra touch of class located in rural Northumberland, just a 15 minute drive from the historic market town of Morpeth. Accommodating 8 adults and surrounded by open countryside, the charming manor house is oozing with style, beautifully designed by the owner Judy, who'll make you feel right at home as soon as your arrive.
The grounds can accommodate two Giant Hat Tipis directly in front of the manor house and a smaller, Chill-out Tipi to the left of the house.
A special and intimate venue, a stay at Rural House Retreat together with our fabulous tipis makes a wonderful combination for hosting small weddings and special celebrations such as engagement and anniversary parties, special birthdays, baby showers and dinner parties. It is also a great choice for those hens who prefer rural escapes, over the city lights. What's more, because there is no light pollution over RHR, the stargazing is out of this world!
