We've put together our top five DIY finishing touches you can add to your day for that extra touch of rustic glamour!
1. Top table glamour
Use our glass globes and pick your favourite some wild flowers or a match your bouquet. These would look beautiful hanging from our cross beams over your top table!
We’ve used a Gypsophila flowers from a local florist and some LED candles.
2. Children’s games
We love this idea of a little scavenger hunt for the little ones to complete throughout the day! Heard the ‘I do’s’, spied the first dance, toasted marshmallows by the fire.
So easy to make too! Some plain brown card purchased from wilko and some ball point pens. (And of course a friend with fancy handwriting and artistic skills!)
Or you can purchase these fab ones here on Ebay. Found: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-Wedding-I-SPY-Kraft-Cards-Trivia-Game-Place-Setting-Table-Vintage-chic-ISPY-/122957890126
We also have our boho vintage lawn games! The package comes with beautiful lawn rugs, colourful floor cushions and a fabulous collection of vintage inspired games suitable for adults and children.
Games such as bottle toss, can throw, hook a duck, giant jenga, four in a row and giant noughts and crosses. Not only do they look fab but they’re loads of fun too.
3. Decorating the aisle
This simple decoration of pampas grass and eucalyptus inside glass vases next to our cross back chairs ready for a ceremony gets us so excited for outdoor weddings this summer!! It looks so beautiful! Both chairs and aisle decorations can then be used on your wedding breakfast tables too.
4. Photo walls of dreams
Rather than a photobooth we’re loving photo walls! They can be used for your ceremony backdrop first too. Our boho wicker collection would be perfect for this, add lots of flowers and some floor rugs and a photographer!
Check out this page – there are lots of beautiful ideas on here!
5. Lantern décor
Lanterns are perfect for adding a finishing touch but also for essential lighting! We have our giant storm lanterns and our smaller Moroccan lanterns too. They can be decorated with flowers and LED candles, then used for your aisle, for your walkway, a little table glamour, for a cosy area or our favourite hanging outside to create a peaceful outdoor area which lights up into the night.
